I started my personal collection in early 1960's.
And I now feel that its time to start slowly selling off my collection, as I am
now focusing on writing my Books.
From small beginning's in 1960, starting with a
French Old Guard Button found at Waterloo from Father or WW1 Postcard of Red
Baron picked up in a Market in 1962.
In 1964 selling all my Waterloo Medals at £9
each plus some swords in order to purchase an original French Infantry
Grenadier Shako 1812 at £50 from Charles Bouche Paris.
In abt 1974 I sold off the last of my Napoleonic
basic sword collection at a London Auction-house in order to try to purchase a
Blue Max Grouping with Documents to WW1 Ace Gontermann (The so-called Balloon
Buster), from T.L. Oliver Portobello Rd for £5,000.
Also the so-called Forman Archive from my late
Father's Estate in 2008 is listed with many truly Important, unusual or unique
Historical Relics, Documents and Ephemera now offered for Sale. |
